WAN Protocols - HDLC, PPP
This four unit course explains the features, operations, implementation
and configuration of the two WAN Protocols, HDLC and PPP. The first
unit introduces the user to the various Wide Area Network (WAN)
services such as Frame Relay, ISDN, and X.25. The Configuring PPP
unit explains the features and functions of the Point-to-Point
protocol (PPP). The third unit, Dial-on-Demand Routing, explains
the basic concepts of SDLC, link types, and topologies supported
by Synchronous Data Link Control (SDLC). Finally, the Dial-on-Demand
Routing unit discusses the advanced features that DDR offers such
as dial backup, multilink PPP, and snapshot routing.
WAN Protocols - HDLC, PPP training covers such topics as:
Introduction to WAN Services
Configuring PPP
Configuring HDLC
Dial-on-Demand Routing
Cisco Configuring X.25
This interactive CBT describes the basic concepts of virtual circuits
and LAPB. The first unit introduces X.25 as a WAN protocol, and
explains the concepts and features of virtual circuits and their
use. The second unit introduces the X.25 protocol suite, maps X.25
to the OSI model, and explains the encapsulation process of X.25
and LAPB. The third unit describes layer 3 parameters and covers
the procedure to configure X.25 traffic over TCP (XOT). The last
unit covers the commands for monitoring the status of an interface
and active X.25 switched virtual circuits configured for X.25.
Configuring X.25 training covers such topics as:
Introduction to X.25
X.25 Protocol Suite
Configuring X.25
Monitoring X.25
Cisco Configuring Frame Relay and ISDN
This course explains the features, operations, implementation
and configuration of the two WAN Protocols, Frame Relay and ISDN.
The first of four units introduces the features, operations, and
congestion control mechanisms of a Frame Relay network. The second
unit discusses Frame Relay mapping, including Frame Relay topologies
and Frame Relay sub-interfaces. The third unit covers the commands
for configuring and monitoring Frame Relay operations on a Cisco
router. The fourth unit discusses the features, operations, configuration,
and monitoring of ISDN.
Configuring Frame Relay and ISDN training covers such topics as:
Frame Relay Overview
Frame Relay Implementation
Configuring Frame Relay
ISDN Concepts and Configuration
The course addresses the needs of network support
staff, network administrators, network professionals, channel partners/resellers/customers,
and students who
want a resource library for CCNA and CCNP. |
