Advanced First Aid
This interactive training course describes some of the serious injuries
that may be encountered in the workplace and explains how to treat
them. It illustrates first aid procedures for such serious conditions
as broken bones, heart attacks, poisoning and seizures.
After completing this course you will be able to
Know how to treat more serious injuries, such as diabetic emergencies
and heart attacks
Know how to handle victims with broken bones and fractures
Identify the symptoms of a poisoning
Know when Rescue Breathing (artificial respiration) and CPR should be used
Advanced Lock-Out/Tag-Out
This course describes advanced Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures specific
to electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. This course also
describes special situations, such as shift changes, "linked" equipment,
multiple people servicing a machine, or involvement of outside personnel.
After completing this course you will be able to
Describe the proper procedure for locking and tagging electrical
hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
Properly release equipment after Lock-Out/Tag-Out has been completed
Describe the proper procedure for temporarily restarting equipment if necessary
