Module Outline
Winners are too busy to be sad, too positive to be doubtful, too
optimistic to be fearful, and too determined to be defeated. What
does it take to be a winner? The answer is self esteem. Self esteem
gives you confidence in yourself and your abilities. You may succeed
or you may fail, but you know that you are a worthy person. Self
esteem also has a powerful effect on the way we relate to others.
In this module we will look at what self esteem is and where it
comes from. We will talk about the key role that self image plays
in the development of self esteem. And we will give you tips for
building your own self esteem and contributing to the self esteem
of those around you.
