Summary:

This training course shows how to create log files and analyze activity reports in the Internet Information Server.

Objectives:

After completing this training course , students will be able to:

Customize the installation of Site Server Express analysis components (Content Analyzer, Report Writer, and Usage Import)
Manage a Web site by using Content Analyzer
Create, customize, and navigate WebMaps
Examine a Web site by using the various reports provided by Content Analyzer
Track links by using a WebMap
Maintain a log for fine-tuning and auditing purposes
Import log files with Usage Import and Report Writer to analyze logs created by the WWW service or the FTP service
Automate Usage Import and Report Writer
Use a WebMap to find broken links, hyperlink texts, headings, and titles

Authorware and Macromedia Flash player recommended but not required. JavaScript must be enabled. Netscape and AOL browsers not supported.
