  • FireFox has an automatic form spellcheck which can be enabled in the options tools.

Go to options then advanced then the general tab.  go down near the bottom and check Check my spelling as I type.

This will turn on the FireFox feature that spellchecks documents as you type.

You can also add dictionaries, by right clicking within any form field.  Right click and go down to dictionaries, and add dictionaries.

If you find your spellcheck is not working you may need to add a dictionary

You can add them here https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/united-states-english-spellche/

This will require a firefox restart.

How do you bookmark all sites open in the tabs……

In firefox you need to press the Ctrl+Shift+D which opens a new box asking to name the folder.  All you open tabs will be despoited into this bookmark folder.

The other one is when you press Ctrl+D it will bookmark just the one open page.

  • I’ve come across this error several times when using https site that require login information.

When you submit the form you get this error that asks you to disable ‘referer’ headers firefox

The quickest way to do this is here in 3 steps

    1. Type About:Config into your browser heade. This opens up firefox browser settings

    2. Then in the Filter search field type Referer

    3. Select network.http.sendRefererHeader right click and select modify.  Change to 1 to enable 0 as default to disable.

Your settings are changed and will now work in the secure form field.
