MCSD Solutions Architecture I

The first course in series of five courses that is designed to provide all of the information a student needs to complete Microsoft's Solutions Architecture exam 70-100. This course explains how to analyze the business requirements for designing new software. The course provides an overview of the Microsoft Solutions Framework (MSF), Microsoft's guidelines for planning, building, and managing information systems. This framework includes seven software design models. This course also explains the phases of the software development lifecycle and focuses on the testing process that takes place during the developing and stabilization phases.

MCSD Solutions Architecture II

The second course in series of five courses that is designed to provide all of the information a student needs to complete Microsoft's Solutions Architecture exam 70-100. This course describes the process of designing a technical architecture. The course will describe networking technologies such as, clients, servers, network types, network models, and network protocols. It also describes the various Microsoft operating systems and what development tools can be used for developing applications for each operating system.

MCSD Solutions Architecture III

The third course in series of five courses that is designed to provide all of the information a student needs to complete Microsoft's Solutions Architecture exam 70-100. This course explains how to design applications and data models for designing new software. It describes the logical design phase and shows how to create class diagrams, logical data models, and user interface prototypes. The course explains what types of databases are available and elements within a database. It describes how to create a complete project plan that includes functional requirements, risk assessment, and a master schedule.

This course explains how to implement data services with SQL Server, and how to create service components, user interfaces, and user services with Visual Basic 6.0.

Creating Components using Visual Basic 6.0

Learn exactly what you need to know about formulating database objects coded with SQL DDL Statements for the Visual Basic 6.0 environment. You will be able to explain how joins are used to create complex queries, define middleware, COM and DCOM, and describe the differences between ActiveX DLL, ActiveX EXE, and ActiveX controls. You will create and interpret SQL statements.
