Description
This course provides an introduction to the elements that should be taken into consideration before a company gets involved with e-business using OS/390. The course provides a complete overview of the main aspects of e-business that affect the initial planning stage of an e-business project. It explains how to plan for the hardware and software requirements of an e-business project. It
examines the data storage considerations and alerts the student to the security threats surrounding e-business, and provides a number of options to help assemble a security blanket that's tailored specifically for your enterprise. This course is written to OS/390 2.x.
Audience
This course is designed as an introductory programming course for system programmers, operators and application programmers who have some knowledge of OS/390.
Prerequisites
The student should have a basic knowledge of IS technologies, data processing, the Internet,
software and hardware or have completed the OS/390 Introduction (38051) course.
