computer is identified on the internet and you need to have an
IP address to use the internet. Web sites also have these addresses
and this is how your computer locates a web page. www.discoveryvip.com
can be found by typing 216.113.197.101 in the windows of your
browser or by typing the DNS name which is the one you remember
it by. Four numbers separated by dots and ranging from 0-255
ISP Internet Service Provider
The company that provides you your access to the internet.
Java
High level programming language. It is an Object Oriented Programming
Language or OOP
JavaScript
JavaScript is different from java because it is specifically designed
for the internet to allow web developers to design interactive
sites.

Words used by surfers to find what they are looking for in the
search engines.

Connecting different points together with a common path.
