Visual Basic 6 Database Access Part I This course provides an introduction to Visual Basic's capabilities relating to database access and manipulation in an online environment. It explains how databases are organized, how information is retrieved and manipulated in databases, and what technologies are available to ensure cross-platform and uniform access to database information. This course describes the fundamentals of viewing and modifying information in databases using the industry standard Structured Query Language (SQL). It explains how SQL is used with client tools built in Visual Basic, to create powerful queries and statements for a server-side database.
