This course is designed to introduce the inexperienced user to procedures used to install system software (SYSMODs), using SMP/E. Specifically, it deals with installation command processing, SMP/E processing analysis and correction techniques, installing functions, and using SMP/E dialogs.

for system programmers or data processing managers who wish to understand SMP/E's

Prerequisites
Students should have a basic knowledge of MVS or OS/390 operating systems,
or equivalent
