Basic First Aid

This interactive training course describes the types of injuries most often encountered in the workplace and explains how to treat them. It illustrates basic first aid procedures for such things as bites and stings, burns, choking and heat stroke.

Understand the precautions to taken when dealing with injuries involving bleeding
Know how to handle victims with broken bones and fractures
Know the Heimlich maneuver
Know when to seek emergency medical assistance

Basic Lock-Out/Tag-Out

This course describes basic Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures and the potential dangers of working with "energized" equipment and machinery. It explains the rules for conducting safe, general Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures. Completion of this course will allow employees to recognize situations where Lock-Out/Tag-Out should be used, analyze the Lock-Out/Tag-Out situation, and determine what procedures should be followed.

Understand the dangers of working on "energized" equipment
