top 1. Don\'t turn your computer off with the power switch until Windows has shut down.
2. Back up your system regularly
3. Defragment yoru system regularly
4. Don\'t unplug or plug peripherals when booting up
5. Virus Software and Spyware software when using a system that connects to the internet.
6. Keep at least 3% Free space on your hard drive.
7. Limit the number of programs running at start-up
