The users begin their career exploration journey by viewing a video detailing important factors to consider in making career choices. Building on this introduction, users watch video clips describing each of the twelve work areas and indicate those of interest. Next, by answering a series of on-screen questions, users develop personal profiles of their interests, abilities, and work preferences. Using the profiles, the program determines a list of specific careers matching the user’s defined characteristics. Users can then embark upon a multimedia exploration of their identified careers, or any career in the Career Center database.
